Here you will find an interface to a program that will let you examine how the trajectories of the logistic equation depend on the initial conditions chosen.

Here you will find a program that will let you make nifty bifuraction diagrams.

Orbits of the Logistic Equation

Pick an initial condition, and this program will display the iterates and make a time series plot.



These programs were written using Perl and C/C++. If you want a copy of the source code send me mail at dave@hornacek.coa.edu. The graphics were produced by gnuplot, a free plotting program.
